This season of EDGE Run Club will feature a 13-week training cycle that blends Trail and Track/Road running with fresh new formats, so you can become a stronger, more well-rounded Athlete!

We will toggle every other week with Trail & Track/Road focus. Target races will be:

  • TRAIL: Frozen Gnome 10K on 1.11.25 (Individual or Relay – registration info coming soon)
  • TRACK/ROAD: F^3 5K or 13.1 on 1.25.25

TRAINING KICKS OFF MONDAY OCTOBER 28TH

Note that all group runs will be written in a time-based format so all runners will begin and end at similar times. Our group plans can apply to any Winter Race.

Remote Plan: $125 (includes full Training Plan, newsletter, and group chats - no live run sessions)

TRAINING WITH EDGE INCLUDES:

  • Comprehensive, Progressively Planned Training Plan
    • Daily workouts
    • Scaleable Time-based efforts (see example below)
  • Coached sessions 2x a week
    • Thursday 6am at Montrose Track & Surrounding Area
      • Every/other week will have Track or Trail focus
      • This session will be Coach supported – with Main Set starting at 6am –Athletes can arrive before/after to suit their individual schedule needs
    • Saturday 8am
      • Every/other week will have Trail or Road focus
      • Road weeks will occur from EDGE (1747 N Elston)
      • Trail weeks will occur on local trail systems – location will be depending on weather (often in Palos Triangle or Swallow Cliff areas ~30 mins from City). We will have 7am carpool options available for pickup at EDGE on these days.

Written Workouts Will Include: 

  • Trail & Track Speed and Tempo Runs: Focused on Speed and Skill, these weekday runs will press the pace to develop dynamic run power and efficiency.
  • Recovery Runs: Progressive, aerobic focus on these lighter effort days for active recovery  
  • Endurance Runs (Goal Marathon Paces from 6:40- 13:00/mile): Not just a Long Run, these days grow in mileage and mix up speeds, terrains, and efforts so you can tackle any challenge on race day! 

EDGE Group Training Plan will be written by Head Nike Running Coach and EDGE Owner, Robyn LaLonde and vetted through our EDGE Coaching Consortium.
