Sign Up Today For Our Spring Group Marathon Training

Whether you’re a debut marathoner or Boston bound, EDGE’s Spring Marathon Training Program will get you to the starting line ready to start 2018 strong.

The 16-week training program, written by Nike+ Run Club Head Coach and EDGE Owner, Robyn LaLonde, will begin January 8, 2018.

Personal Training Chicago

Marathon Training Includes:

  • Coached, supported sessions, starting and ending at EDGE
  • Weekly Education at runs and via newsletters
  • Free Training Peaks account with full plan and personalized pace card

Written workouts will include:

  • Speed and Tempo Runs: Focused on Speed and Form, these weekday runs will press the pace to develop running efficiencies.
  • Recovery Runs: Progressive, aerobic focus on these lighter effort days for active recovery
  • Long Runs (Paces every :30s from 7:00-10:30/mile): Not just mileage, these days will grow in length but also mix up gears so you can tackle any challenge on race day.
  • Strength Sessions: key to improving running efficiency, mobility and decreasing risk of injury
